This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of DAKDAN Talent and applies to all users, including candidates, employers, university partners, and contractors. By accessing the platform, you agree to comply with this policy.
In Summary
Use DAKDAN Talent for its intended purpose: connecting talent with opportunities. Don't harass, spam, scrape, hack, or misuse the platform. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.
Prohibited Activities
Fraudulent or Deceptive Activity
You may NOT engage in any fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive practices
- Fake Profiles: Creating accounts with false information, impersonating others, or using stolen identities
- Resume Fraud: Fabricating work history, education credentials, or skills; submitting someone else's resume
- Fake Job Postings: Posting non-existent positions, pyramid schemes, or commission-only roles disguised as employment
- Phishing: Attempting to obtain passwords, financial information, or personal data through deceptive means
- Payment Scams: Requesting payment for job applications, interviews, or training; advance-fee fraud
Harassment, Discrimination & Abuse
DAKDAN Talent has zero tolerance for harassment or discriminatory behavior
- Harassment: Unwanted contact, stalking, threatening messages, or abusive language
- Discrimination: Job postings or decisions based on protected characteristics (race, gender, age, religion, disability, etc.)
- Sexual Harassment: Unwelcome sexual advances, requests for favors, inappropriate comments or images
- Hate Speech: Content promoting violence or hatred against individuals or groups based on protected characteristics
- Doxxing: Publishing private personal information (addresses, phone numbers) without consent
Spam & Unsolicited Communications
Do not send spam, bulk messages, or unsolicited commercial content
- Mass Messaging: Sending identical or substantially similar messages to multiple users
- Unsolicited Marketing: Promoting products, services, or business opportunities unrelated to employment
- Recruiter Spam: Sending generic, irrelevant job offers; "spray and pray" recruitment tactics
- MLM/Network Marketing: Multi-level marketing schemes or recruiting for non-employment opportunities
Technical Abuse & Security Violations
Do not interfere with platform security, functionality, or performance
- Scraping & Automation: Automated data extraction, bots, scrapers, or crawlers (except authorized search engines)
- Hacking: Unauthorized access, bypassing security measures, exploiting vulnerabilities
- DDoS/DoS Attacks: Overwhelming servers or network infrastructure with traffic
- Malware Distribution: Uploading viruses, trojans, ransomware, or malicious code
- Reverse Engineering: Decompiling, disassembling, or attempting to derive source code
- Rate Limit Abuse: Circumventing API rate limits or creating multiple accounts to evade restrictions
Prohibited Content
Do not post, upload, or transmit illegal or harmful content
- Illegal Content: Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), content depicting illegal activities, regulated goods (weapons, drugs)
- Sexually Explicit Content: Pornography, nudity, or sexually suggestive material (except for legitimate medical/educational contexts)
- Violence & Gore: Graphic depictions of violence, self-harm, suicide, or animal cruelty
- Intellectual Property Infringement: Copyrighted material, trademarks, or trade secrets used without authorization
- Misinformation (Health/Safety): False information about public health emergencies, safety threats, or election integrity
Acceptable & Encouraged Uses
For Candidates
- • Create accurate, complete profiles
- • Apply to relevant job opportunities
- • Upload legitimate resumes and work samples
- • Communicate professionally with employers
- • Provide honest feedback on employers and roles
- • Update skills and preferences regularly
For Employers
- • Post accurate, non-discriminatory job listings
- • Review applications fairly and promptly
- • Communicate hiring decisions transparently
- • Provide meaningful feedback to candidates
- • Honor compensation and benefits promises
- • Report suspicious or fraudulent activity
For University Partners
- • Submit qualified student candidates
- • Verify student enrollment and eligibility
- • Monitor student progress and outcomes
- • Coordinate credit-bearing programs
- • Provide career support and guidance
- • Share aggregate outcomes data
For All Users
- • Respect others' privacy and data
- • Report violations of this policy
- • Use features for their intended purpose
- • Provide constructive, honest feedback
- • Comply with applicable laws and regulations
- • Foster an inclusive, respectful community
Enforcement & Consequences
Graduated Response System
We enforce this policy using a graduated approach based on severity and history:
Warning
Trigger: First-time minor violations (e.g., incomplete profile, single spam message)
Action: Email warning with link to policy; 7-day corrective period
Temporary Suspension
Trigger: Repeated minor violations or moderate violations (e.g., harassment, fake reviews)
Action: 7-30 day account suspension; access revoked during period
Permanent Ban
Trigger: Severe violations (fraud, illegal content, hacking, repeat offenses)
Action: Permanent account termination; IP/device ban; legal action if warranted
Immediate Termination
Trigger: Criminal activity (CSAM, threats of violence, terrorism)
Action: Instant ban, law enforcement referral, evidence preservation
Appeals Process
If you believe your account was suspended or terminated in error, you may appeal:
- 1.Email appeals@dakdantalent.com within 14 days of action
- 2.Include your account email, action taken, and why you believe it was incorrect
- 3.Our Trust & Safety team reviews within 5 business days
- 4.Decision is final; repeated frivolous appeals may be ignored

If you encounter content or behavior that violates this policy:
In-Platform Reporting
Click "Report" button on job postings, profiles, or messages. Provide details and screenshots.
Email Reporting
Send detailed report to abuse@dakdantalent.com
Emergency/Legal
For threats or illegal activity, contact legal@dakdantalent.com
What Happens Next?
- • Reports reviewed within 24 hours (critical issues within 2 hours)
- • We may contact you for additional information
- • Action taken if violation confirmed (reporter notified)
- • Reporter identity kept confidential
Policy Updates
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy to address new risks or legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated via:
- Email notification (14 days advance notice)
- Prominent banner on platform
- Version history published below
Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with changes, discontinue use and close your account.
